Your control tools
Under the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming, every account includes:
- Deposit limits — cap how much you can deposit per day, week or month.
- Loss limits — cap your net losses over a chosen period.
- Time limits & session reminders — set how long you play and get reality-check reminders.
- Cooling-off / take a break — pause your account for a short period.
- Self-exclusion — exclude yourself for longer periods.
You can set limits when you register and change them any time. Requests that tighten a limit take effect immediately; requests that loosen or remove a limit take effect only after a 24-hour cooling-off period.
Self-exclusion
If you want to stop gambling for a while, you can self-exclude. Ontario operates BetGuard through iGaming Ontario (iGO). Registering once can block your access across participating online gaming operators in Ontario at the same time.
Minimum self-exclusion period: 6 months. Self-exclusion periods are available for 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, 5 years, or permanently. During an active exclusion you cannot shorten or cancel it — you must wait until the period expires before requesting reinstatement.
Register for self-exclusion: https://www.betguard.ca/. You can also contact our support team to set an account-level exclusion on iRevegas directly.
Signs gambling may be a problem
- Spending more time or money than you intended.
- Chasing losses or borrowing money to gamble.
- Gambling to escape stress, low mood or boredom.
- Hiding your gambling from family or friends.
- Neglecting work, study or relationships because of gambling.
Protecting minors
You must be 19+ to play. We verify age at registration and through KYC checks. If you share a device with anyone under 19, consider parental-control software to keep gambling content away from minors.
